Tennis for Competition Players
Men can phone the Badge Secretary Tim Niccol on 9869 2764. Ladies can phone Marie Brandis after work hours on 9638 1115. Competition players need to become registered members of the Cheltenham Recreation Club Tennis Section.
Beginning 2006, Saturday Badge has had a new format. Some matches are allocated the time slot of 12.00-2.30 pm with lunch following. Other matches are allocated the time slot of 2.30-5.00 pm with 'afters' following. Division 1 will always play 2.30-5.00 pm. Players can nominate as a team or as an individual. Every effort will be made to place single nominations into teams if available. All fees must be paid prior to nomination. Entries for Autumn Badge generally close in the last 2 weeks of January each year. Notices will appear in the tennis clubhouse.

Tennis Courts for Casual Hire
Courts are available for hire when not used by the coach, members, or for organised social play. To book courts, members and non-members should phone In the Zone Tennis on 9869 8300 or Brendon Rose on 0417 657 937. Click tennis court availability for when courts may be available for hire. Hirers need to pay prior to play, or by prior arrangement.
Tennis Coaching
Contact 'In the Zone' coaching Group on 0417 657 937 or 9986 2244. Our coaches run group and individual classes at the Club – currently approximately 100 juniors and 25 adults. Tuition rates are advertised at the Club, or available from 'In the Zone'. Regular coaching takes place on 2 synthetic grass courts at the following times, and may take place at other designated times. Tennis shoes, without bars, are an essential requirement.
